Shay Lawrence's passion with makeup and prosthetics began at a very early age and quickly transformed into an amazing journey of dedication and commitment to the astounding world of makeup and special makeup effects.
In 1997 after having trained with an Academy Award winning makeup artist, Shay went straight onto National and International productions such as "Roar" the U.S. TV series filmed on the Gold Coast Australia and "Molokai: The Story of Father Damien" a film by Paul Cox filmed on the Hawaiian island Molokai.
By 2005 Shay's ability of creating cinemagraphic makeup and prosthetic applications lead him to work on the hit TV series "Farscape" to award winning film projects with Rachel Ward and Bryan Brown.
In 2008 Shay Lawrence's work was highlighted when he created the principle makeup effects for the nation wide government ANTI-ICE campaign.
Known for working with luminaries such as Peter O'Toole, Sir Derek Jacobi and David Wenham, Shay Lawrence has had the privilege of working on various features and projects worldwide, focusing his passion and enthusiastic determination to deliver unparalleled results in cinematic standards.
